This standard covers classification and requirements for impregnated wood in the wood protection classes NTR M, NTR A, NTR AB and NTR B. Pine wood in contact with soil or fresh water, as well as structures above ground where personal safety requires that it not be weakened or which may be difficult to inspect or replace.
