Parallelogram Large

Parallelogram Large

Add to list of favorites
You build parallelograms at the ends of the fence in order to handle the force that arises in a well-tensioned fence, regardless of whether it is wire or netting. The principle is that the farthest post where the netting or wire is attached receives a pull in the direction of the fence and this pull is distributed via the log to the other post. The force in the second post goes down the stay wire back to the bottom of the first post. The parallelogram thus takes care of the force from the fence and distributes it within itself without pulling the posts out of position. It is important to note that the length of the log is not too short, because then it counteracts its function and instead receives a lifting force. Please contact us for advice.

    Description

    Article no.: Para-L

The log is sawn (with a 82mm hole saw) 3cm between the posts 10cm below the top wire on the net. The chisel is turned away to knock out the material that remains after the hole saw. The Gripple wire kit is looped around the end post as close to the ground as possible and clamped without pinching the wire, leaving about 1cm of air. The end of the wire is in the secondary post at the same height as the top of the log put a clamp there and leave about 1cm of air. you can now tighten the Gripple large with a gripple pliers we usually aim for the gripple to end up about 35cm from the secondary post.
